Application Deadlines

Application Forms

Applications are completed online via the School of Graduate Studies Admissions Application website. The IMS will consider your application after payment of the application fee. 

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure that all required documents are submitted by the due date. You can check the status of your application at the online application website.

References are submitted by referees via the online application website. 

Acknowledgement

You will be contacted via Email by the University when your web application has been received.

Interview with the IMS Graduate Coordinator

You will be contacted by the IMS Admissions Officer when your completed application is received. You will be asked to set up an interview with the Graduate Coordinator. After your interview has taken place, your application will be forwarded to the IMS Admissions Committee for consideration.

Admissions Committee Review

The IMS Admissions Committee will review your completed application. The Committee meets regularly following the application deadlines. The Admissions Committee will be meeting to review applications for September 2013 registration on the following dates:

                               March 22
                               April 26                               
                               May 10
                               May 31
                               June 14
                               June 28

In order for your application be reviewed at one of the above mentioned Committee meetings, you must have completed your interview at least two weeks prior the meeting date.  The last day for interviews is Friday, June 14.

Notification

You will be notified in writing after your completed application has been reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

After Acceptance

The School of Graduate Studies Handbook, IMS Student Handbook and the IMS Course Handbook are given to all new students at orientation, free of charge.

Routine communication is conducted throughout the year via email and the website.
